Contemporary Fine Art
Diane Clement, Experimental Artist
Master Sculptor and Fine Artist Charles Ponticello
My work is a quest with ineffability in the human/cosmic nexus. As such it revolves around seeing/making things as they really are. It asks what constitutes a symbol that leaps out with joy, delight, beauty, and harmony, and confirms us so completely that we are reminded of ourselves as a unity of ambiguity and clarity. The dynamic involves weighing the human/cosmic situation as it bounces fully here and there as empty space without a gap in the entire world to let it in.
“Playing with Fire”
Regarding paper dolls; they can easily tear. The elements can harm and destroy - or be destroyed. My story is different, perhaps, than how I am perceived. That is why I paint - to express what I feel or have felt. Each paper doll represents a different period of my life. Raw emotions poured into art.
My second period of work is my freedom to experiment and play!

We believe Art is the key to the Eternal door. Doors to Heaven is an unique and original concept, of free standing paintings, that offer a magical journey to newly discovered grounds within the eternal art world. Building a link between painting and sculpture, we are not afraid to experiment with different processes and new techniques. Most of the time deep texture gently washed with oils is our language of expression. The relationship between the free standing painting and the environment is fundamental to our concept. Our works often are large scale and seek to impress upon the viewer some sense of eternity. From early figurative work, our paintings evolved to abstract visions influenced by both the Old and New Testaments. Real objects often are attached to our paintings, proving to the viewer important aspects of our ideas about the eternal contact between the real world and art.
